Major Responsibilities/Position Functions:
Assistance in accomplishing activites of daily living:
1. Dressing
2. Grooming
3. Bathing
4. Eating
5. Toileting
6. Transferring
7. Positioning
8. Mobility
Redirection and intervention of behavior including observation and monitoring.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, turn, position and transfer up to 30 pounds of weight.
Education/Qualifications:
Individual must have high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. Individuals must show compassion and empathy of persons who are chronically ill or otherwise disabled, and demonstrate an understanding and maturity with respect to the responsibilities and expectations of the position. Must have reliable transportation and a felony free background.
