HealthCorps is a small client and employee oriented home care organization that is very focused on keeping their clients living independently and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join HealthCorps, Inc. This position is at an independent living site in White Bear Lake and/or Little Canada, MN.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services designed to maintain the resident’s physical and emotional well being.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
-Assist the resident with personal cares which may include all or some of the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering, rubbing with lotions, fingernail cares and foot cares if instructed to do so, medication administration, redirection of a confused resident, and other cares as assigned.
-Assist with dressing, grooming and oral cares as assigned.
-Assist in use of hearing aids and glasses for residents.
-Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
-Assist with treatments as delegated the Register Nurse per individualized care plan.
-Observe client and report changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc.
-Medication assistance as delegated by RN.
-Prepare meals as directed following special meal plans if instructed.
-Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to RN.
-Attend In-service training as assigned.
-Follows cleaning schedule per shift worked.
-Lead resident activities as scheduled and assigned.
This position is part-time and the shifts are as follows: White Bear Lake: 6:00am – 10:00am, 6:00am – 2:30pm 2:30pm-10:30pm Every other weekend.

DUTIES
