I am a C5/6 quadriplegic male and I am looking for a CNA or home health aid, for my 2 hour morning visit.
The ideal person will have experience working with quadriplegics, but this is also a great position for nursing students looking to learn quadriplegic care.
I need someone who can do bed to wheelchair transfers and help me with showering, dressing, grooming, bowel program, light housekeeping and other activities of daily living.
I am looking for someone to come to my home during the weekdays from 6:15am — 8:15am, to help me get ready before I go to work. And then on the weekends from 8:15am – 10:15am.
I currently have some CNA’s helping me during a few days of the week, but I need to get people to cover the other days as well as for backing up my current workers.
I am specifically looking for 1 or 2 people to who cover the following 3 mornings every week: #1) Fridays from 6:15am-8:15am #2) Saturdays from 8:15am-10:15am #3) Sundays from 8:15am-10:15am
You must be on time (if you show up late to work, then I will end up being late for my work).
You must have your own reliable vehicle.
You must have a positive attitude.
Having a current CNA license is preferable, but not absolutely required.
My home is located just South of Cherry Creek in South Denver — near the intersection of Leetsdale & Quebec.
The pay is $15 per hour – ($30 for a 2 hour morning visit)
