Seeking two (2) "EXPERIENCED" PCAs for am & pm positions PLUS "DAILY RESPITE" (If you cannot do the daily respite,do not apply). You MUST be available ASAP and already have your PC #. If you can see this as NOT just a JOB but a LONG TERM commitment, then please reply. Not a live-in or just a companion position, but a "Hands-On" position. If you are an organized person, this is an "EASY, FUN & "REWARDING" JOB. I have the hours for you if you are ready to work.
Your client will be my wife who is a sweet, charming and lovable (co-operative), 5 ft 5 inch high, 74 year old woman (CJ = Carol Jane) with dementia and other health issues, that is totally dependant on us to provide for all her needs. We Seek STRONG (some lifting) and HEALTHY, dependable & experienced PCAs with your Medicaid PC number.
Shift positions are for alternating Two (2) weekday mornings ( 5 am - 9:30 am ) evenings ( 6 - 10:30 pm) plus sharing of Sat. & Sun. evenings. All morning & evening shifts (M-F) are 4.5 hrs. consisting of 2.5 hrs. PCA @ $15 per hr., 1 hr. respite @ $11 per hr. & 1 hr. chore @ $10 per hr. Sat. & Sun. evenings are 5 hrs of straight PCA hours (5:30 - 10:30 = $75.00) and also the sharing of "Daily Respite" (alternating) as the need arises, and it will, because I am facing several surgeries in the next three years. Daily Respite pays $180 per 24 hour days with 8 hour rest periods. Holiday pay is time & a half. This position is run more like a family setting in our comfortable Christian home. I, as CJ's main Caregiver & POA, am an easy going, retired & also disabled, Non-denominational / Pentecostal Minister, plus a writer of inspirational stories, living qoutations and poems. I am also a retired Chef (NO ONE goes hungry around us). We keep plenty of food, non-alcoholic drinks & snacks for all our PCAs. you have a fridge for all your water and various sodas (WHICH I SUPPLY). Other side benifits will be explained at the interview. ( YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF CJ & OUR HOME and I WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU)
