As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will:
•Provide personal care and selected housekeeping and therapy services to ill, disabled, or injured patients within their home
•Assist with basic activities and daily living needs of patients
•Performs work assignments in accordance with organization’s established policies, procedures, and protocols as directed by your supervisor.
•Meet with your PCC, on a regularly scheduled basis to assist in identifying areas for improvement.
•Identifies patients appropriately before administering treatments, serving meals, etc., as necessary.
•Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
•Communicates changes in the patient’s condition to the Team Leader/PCC as soon as practical. Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the day that they occur to Team Leader/PCC. Complete appropriate incident report.
•Report all complaints and grievances made by the patient/caregiver to Team Leaders and PCC.
Qualifications
•Current CNA license
•Six months or more experience in home health or related field preferred
•Ability to provide partial or complete living assistance to patients without assistance from other healthcare workers
•Effective communication and organization skills
