Sandy Home Care Services is a private, in-home care agency that has been serving clients for over fifteen years on the east side from Welches, Sandy, Gresham, Portland and outlying areas. We are currently looking for caregivers and CNAs to work in clients' homes providing assistance with daily activities of living, meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing, and who are committed to providing quality care to our clients and assisting them to maintain their dignity and quality of life in their homes. Shifts range from 3 hours to 12 hours, and 24 hour live-in shifts. Starting pay ranges from $9 to $12 an hour depending upon your experience and licensure.
SHCS is looking for employees who are compassionate, dependable and trustworthy. They understand that caring for clients in their homes is a responsibility and privilege. They can work independently with attention to detail. They enjoy the pace of home care and have the ability to provide excellent care for their clients without having to take short cuts. Additionally, they are energetic, thorough and mature, and understand that caregiving is also about documentation of care.
We prefer thtat you have at least 6 months of experience. CNA certification is a plus, and so it previous experience working with seniors who have dementia or alzheimers. Some of the duties of our caregivers and CNAs include meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, laundry, med reminders, bathing, assistance with ADLs, companionship. Some lifting may be required. Applicants must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance. You also must be able to pass a drug screening, background check and provide personal and professional references prior to employement.
