An exceptional Senior Living Community in Waukee is seeking a full-time universal worker or CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant). EOE

Qualifications:
1. Able to maintain confidential inofrmation.
2. Able to handle occasional physical and verbal abuse from residents and handle it in an appropriate professional manner at all times.
3. Able to commuicate effectively with personnel, residents, and families.
4. Able to work as a team member.
Skills:
1. Able to use thermometer.
2. Able to use glucometer.
3. Able to use blood pressure cuff and stethoscope.
4. Able to use oxygen tanks/concentrators.
5. Individuals must be able to use protective equipment and take proper precautions and emergency measures.
Education & Experience
1. Functional literacy in written and spoken English.
2. Demostrated effecive communication.
3. Continuing education courses as available and mandatory in-services/meetings.
4. High school diploma desirable.
5. Previous experience preferred.
