Part-time LPN or CNA
Company Overview:
Established in 1990, Sequel Youth and Family Services of Courtland is a licensed and academically accredited 46-bed residential treatment facility. The program specializes in treating adolescent males with maladaptive sexual concerns and/or behavioral disorders. The campus is located in Courtland, AL near Athens, Decatur, and Muscle Shoals.
Job Overview:
As an active member of the treatment team, the LPN provides skilled nursing care to adolescent males, ages 12-18. The LPN reviews the student's physical needs, administers prescribed medications, arranges medical/dental appointments, and documents care according to assigned standards of care.
Job Requirements:
• This position requires a graduate from an approved LPN program.
• The candidate must possess a valid unrestricted Practical Nursing License issued by the Alabama State Board of Nursing.
• Previous psychiatric and mental health nursing experience with an adolescent population is highly desirable.
• Must be able to deliver skilled nursing care in both routine and stressful periods.
• A valid CPR certification issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association is preferred.

Compensation: Negotiable Depending on Experience
