CareMinders Home Care is hiring again!

You will perform a variety of tasks for clients, including but not limited to bathing, mobility and ambulation, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, transferring, and feeding. Services could also include meal planning, preparation and serving. Other duties may include light housekeeping, laundry and medication reminders.
We go beyond taking care of our patient's physical need--we're looking for someone who connects with patients.
EDUCATION
You will demonstrate education, training and qualifications in the following areas:
1) Completion of a basic aide-training program consistent with State and Federal requirements and for which a certificate was obtained;
2) Active, valid certification and evaluations/ health exams as required by law;
3) Skills and abilities to perform the specific assignment;
4) Appropriate language skills required for the assignment.
5) Ability to successfully pass the National League of Nursing Skills Test;
6) Current CPR and Basic First Aid certifications.
EXPERIENCE
• Preference will be given to applicants with one year or more experience as a CNA in a home care setting.
• Evidence of an interest in--and ability to work with people.
• Good grooming and personal hygiene is evident including no visible tattoos or body piercing other than earrings.
• Past employment indicates dependability, ability to follow directions, good judgment and emotional maturity.
• Willingness and ability to follow directions from supervision and training.
• Ability to document daily activities in writing (English is required) and do simple math.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Evidence of homemaking and cooking skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Builds strong relationships with other caregivers and clients/families.
• Maintain accurate records of daily tasks in compliance with company policy and procedure.
• Maintain communication with supervisor, and family and will report emergency or problem situations immediately.
• Provides care and services in accordance with the Service Plan or Plan of Treatment.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe home, prepares meals according to special diet as identified on the Service Plan.
• Must participate in training and continuing education in compliance with company rules.
• Must have a safe driving record.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs job duties in compliance with Federal, State and local Rules and Regulations and Company policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information in compliance with State and Federal law.
• Adheres to and demonstrates CareMinders Home Care culture core values as defined in the Code of Conduct.
• Must demonstrate a stable, drug free background with no criminal record.
• Driving record must be free of accidents and moving violations for prior three years.
• Protects the confidential nature of brand specific information.
