Bayview Terrace Assisted Living is looking for outgoing, friendly, detail oriented individuals who are interested in working with seniors and disabled clients. Work includes: helping residents with meal preparation, assisting with medication, assisting with bathing and toileting, and cleaning.
Multiple positions are available for lead and staff full-time and part-time positions. Certified Medical Assistants or equivalent preferred. Non CNAs will be considered for staff positions based on experience.
Must be trustworthy, caring, speak and write English fluently, and have a strong desire to work with elderly and disabled adults. Hiring for all shifts. Employment subject to background check. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Compensation and Hours
Salary Range: $10.50 - $16.00 Hour DOE (Depends on Experience)
Hours per Week: 15-40

Hiring Requirements: Drug Testing/Screening, Background Checks, Reference Checks
Years of Education Requirement: Attained High School Diploma
Months of Experience Requirement: 12
Minimum Age: 18
Credential Requirements: Nurse Aide, Preferred
Nursing Assistant Certification preferred. Will consider other applicants based on prior work experience and desire to learn.

ABOUT BAYVIEW TERRACE:
The Bayview Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Kodiak, AK is designed for those who need extra support and personal care assistance, but don't require the intense medical services of a nursing home. It is a non-medical facility with the capacity to provide a comfortable home for 15 residents. Each room is a private one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with a nice living room and full kitchen. With the Kodiak Senior Center and Island Cove located right across the parking lot, and the downtown Kodiak community just a few blocks away, we offer a lifestyle of convenience to all of our residents.
