14 positions to fill in the surrounding areas: St. Louis Park, Roseville, Richfield, and Plymouth.
ïƒ˜Personal Care Assistant/CNA/HHA for Private duty needed to provide various personal cares and for the comfort of patients in their homes. These services are are provided under the guidance and supervision of registered nurses and include:
ïƒ˜Essential Job Functions:
•Perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
•Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
•Ambulation
•Eating
•Dressing
•Shaving
•Shopping & meal preparation
•Perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
•Medication reminders with in-person visits or phone calls
•Errands & transportation
•Companionship, including reading and spiritual care
•Meet and maintain safety needs of clients and use adaptive equipment
•Driving patients to their doctor appointment as well
ïƒ˜Job Qualifications:
•18 years of age or older
•High school graduate or G.E.D certificate preferred.
•Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
•Current CPR certificate is required.
•Must have an open flexible schedule and available to work weekends and nightshifts as needed
•Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
•Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
•Have empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
•Demonstrate tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
•Possess and maintain good physical and mental health Location: Brooklyn Center, Mn
Compensation: $14.12-$17.90
