Home Option Personal Care currently has ASAP needs for Male CNA’s in the Salt Lake area. We are looking for caring, kind, dependable, and personable individuals to provide in-home, non-medical personal care. We treat our caregivers & CNA’s as valued employees, and are looking for dedicated, responsible and passionate individuals to join our team.
Flexible hours (days, nights, weekends,) and competitive pay.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
-Cooking, light housekeeping, laundry and changing bed linens
-Bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
-Transportation to doctor appointments, supermarket, and pharmacy
-Assisting with walking and transfers from bed to wheelchair
-Medication reminders
-Companionship
-Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong written and oral communication skills. English is mandatory
-Minimum 1 year care giving or CNA experience
-CNA licensure required
-Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
-Ability to lift 25 pounds – Reliable means of transportation
-Ability to pass a criminal background & Drug Screen
Current First Aid and or CPR certificate **Applicants must be able to work independently, perform the job responsibly without direct supervision and respond appropriately to emergencies. **
