Caregiver, CNA (South Forsyth County -Cumming, GA)

Caring, mature and reliable caregiver needed for 12 year old female special needs youth. Youth is nonverbal and on autism spectrum. Prior experience with special needs children with cognitive disabilities is required. Care needed is driven by specific goals to become more independent (activities of daily living) as well as expressive communication. Primary need is for afternoon care with occasional evening and weekend care and is in a private home. Duties include : light laundry, personal hygiene (bathing , dressing, toileting/changing), medication dispensing, pharmacy errands, feeding, and meal preparation. Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred. Female preferred. Excellent opportunity for a nursing student! Must pass criminal background check and clean driving record.

Location: South Forsyth County -Cumming, GA
Compensation: $10 - $11 per hour
