My goal is to bring my unique gifts of patience, caring, respect, joy, humor, dignity and compassion in providing affordable dependable home care assistance to those for whom licensed nursing care in a skilled nursing home is not affordable nor desired because I believe better care begins at home.
I have reliable transportation, a clean background check, letters of recommendations, excellent references. I am a CPR & First Aid certified caregiver/personal care aide with 14+ years of experience in various areas of the medical field.
I have been employed caring for the elderly, which included but not limited to surgery recovery, convalescence, dementia, Alzheimer's, brain injury, brain aneurysm, osteomyelitis, osteoarthritis, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, cancer, bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. I have worked in conjunction with hospice to give compassion, respect and dignity to the terminally ill and also worked with private individuals at hospitals and rehab assisting with family requests, monitor patients, interacting with nursing personnel and giving family respite.
I also have been employed as a live-in caregiver. While being employed as a live in caregiver my duties included all aspects of giving my patient excellent care. I also performed all household, social activities and medical appointments. I am extremely organized and take pride in providing for all of my patient's needs and wants. I love what I do!!!! My former patients and their families have become part of my family.
