Greetings,
We are currently interviewing CNA and Home Care Aides to work with our clients in the Marin County area. All applicants must have one year of experience, transportation to and from assignments (Public transit ok!) and be legally able to work in the United States. A description of the duties that you may be asked to do:
1. Supervises feeds and assists with dressing of clients who by reason of advanced age, physical disability or mental deficiency need supervision.
2. Functions within the limitations of the individual assignment and Plan of Care.
3. Attends to the client's request promptly
4. Provides personal care, companionship, socialization and housekeeping services.
5. Assists with meal planning, purchase of food and food preparation; feed clients as appropriate.
6. Assists client to live in a clean, safe environment.
7. Knows and follows infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
8. Maintains appropriate communication, both written and verbal. Reports changes in condition immediately to Coordinator, Care Manager or office.
9. Assists and supervises client with all activities of daily living including; dressing, personal care, bathing, skin care and oral care. Assistance with mobility, ambition and assistance with exercise as prescribed in RN/PT/OT/ST Care Plan.
10. Treats clients and family with respect and dignity
11. Performs all other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
12. Assist client with additional duties assigned by office
