We are currently looking for experienced CNAs to work 8hr shifts at our customers' health care facilities. This is a good opportunity if you are looking for part-time work to supplement your income or if you are looking for full-time work and are flexible. We offer all shifts: AM, PM, and Night. Most of our needs are PM and Nights.
Job Description
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides nursing services under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or a Registered Nurse (RN). Certified Nurse Assistants can work in any healthcare setting such as a Hospital, Nursing home, Community Center, Hospice, School, Outpatient facility and so on.
The daily duties of the CNA depend on his/her work setting, and include the following:
-Observing residents. Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
-Taking care of a resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, nail care, etc.
-Toileting residents.
-Emptying catheter bags.
-Monitoring vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
-Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food / fluid intake.
-Feeding residents.
-Serving nutritional supplements.
-Making beds.
-Keeping the residents space clean and tidy.
-Bringing the resident to the therapy area.
-Turning bed ridden residents to prevent bedsores.
Requirements
-1 year recent experience
-CPR Certified and current
-CBRF training not required, but a plus
-TB skin test within the last 12 months
-On the WI CNA Registry with no restrictions
-Positive attitude
-Willing to work at different health care facilities in different settings
-Ability to adapt to new situations quickly
-Willing to help out with last minute shifts when needed
-Driver's license and vehicle to be able to get to different health care facilities
