Growing in-home care provider is looking for experienced caregivers who are caring, responsible, dependable, and personable. We assist people of all ages however the majority of our clients are seniors.
We are seeking caregivers who enjoy interacting with seniors, accompanying them to appointments, and helping them with daily activities, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Experience working with Alzheimer's, stroke, and Parkinson's clients is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:
•1+ years of verifiable EXPERIENCE through employment with a home care/home health agency
and/or an assisted living facility.
•DRIVERS' LICENSE, reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and good driving record.
•Must have (or be able to attend class) for current CPR and First Aid certification.
•Must be able to communicate clearly in English (verbally and in writing), and effectively relay and document information concerning the client's status.
•Commitment to completing accepted assignments and related documentation/reporting.
•Able to make good decisions and take appropriate action in crisis situations.
•Complete at least six annual on-going, required in-service or University Online classes and trainings.
•All of our prospective employees are required to pass an extensive background/criminal records search and drug & tb screening.
