PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT (COMPANION / HOMEMAKERS)
PCAs are responsible for the care of a client in their place of residence. They act as a companion, performing household chores, shopping, meal preparation, and other services including transportation.
Qualifications include: – Current, unencumbered state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant strongly preferred – Current BLS and First Aid certification. – Must be responsible, flexible, compassionate, patient, and cheerful. – Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation.
-Minimum of 1 year of client care experience. Home health experience a plus.
CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDS
CHHAs are responsible for providing routine personal healthcare; such as feeding, bathing, dressing, or grooming, monitoring vital signs, and providing medication reminders in the client’s place of residence under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications include: – Current, unencumbered Kansas Home Health Aide certification. – Current, unencumbered state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant – Home health experience a plus. – Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation. – Must have a clean criminal and background record
