Terwilliger Plaza, Portland's signature retirement community for over 50 years and recently selected by Oregon Business as one of the top 100 Best Nonprofits to Work in Oregon, has openings for the on-call CNAs for all shifts: day, evening, or night shift.
A Certified Nursing Assistant reports to the shift Charge Nurse(s) and fulfills the need of resident's direct care, both medical and non-medical. This includes assisting residents with ADLs: take vital signs, bed changes, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, toileting, feeding, and answering call lights and working in accordance with Charge Nurse's instructions.
Education
Required:
CNA License and a minimum of six months CNA experience in long-term care facility or CCRC. Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. CPR and First Aid current certification. Food Handlers Card. A minimum of 12 months CNA strongly preferred.
