We are looking for a kind and caring person with a love for the elderly and people with special needs, to fill a LIVE - IN Assisted Living Direct care position. In our beautiful, privately owned facility.
THIS IS A LIVE IN POSITION- WHICH MEANS YOU LIVE HERE ON THE PREMISIS.
Job Description:
Caring for the daily needs of the elderly, mentally and physically disabled persons.
Cooking Meals
House Keeping
Cleaning
Laundry
Medication Distribution
Filling out appropriate paperwork
Dressing
Bathing
Some experience in the adult care field is neccessarry, any previous work with the elderly, MD or DD clients is helpful.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Physically Fit (this will need to be documented by your family physician as required by the State Lisencing Dept.)
Sound Mind (this will need to be documented by your family physician as required by the State Lisencing Dept.)
Able to Bend, walk up stairs
Non Smoking facility
Drug Free
Valid Michigan Drivers lisence
Good Driving Record
Negative TB test upon being selected for the position
Able to Follow instructions
Possess a good attitude
Self Motivated and able to work alone
Compensation, Please REMEMBER This is a Live in Position and will include:
A monthly Salary paid bi-weekly (based on experience and performance)
A spacious bedroom with large closets
Semi-Private: Laundry facilities, Bathroom, Kitchen, living & Dining area
Satellite TV
Wi-Fi
meals
Electric & Natural Gas are included
Land Line usage
