HOME HEALTH CARE: CNA/HHA'S Needed Immediately (Tampa Bay)

Looking for CNA's and HHA's to start immediately for Home Health Care shifts ranging from 8 - 12 hours (8 hour Shifts maybe be split into two 4 hour shifts). Must be available to work weekends. Agency located in the Westchase area of Tampa Bay and looking for shifts to cover Tampa and Land O Lakes Area. Please see below for Job Descriptions and Qualifications. Must meet all qualifications to be considered.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Provides in home support services, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Caregiver to assist the patient and/or family in a home setting following an established plan of care.
Perfom personal care activities that assist a patient/family with activities of daily living, including but not limit to
1. Personal hygiene (including but not limited to bathing, skin and hair care, incontinence/catheter care, peri-care, bathroom assistance, dressing)
2. Assisting with ambulation and transfers
3. Meal Preperation
4. Homemaking activities (including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, dishes, changing linens, laundry, etc.)
5. Provide transportation assistance as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week to be considered.
2. Hours range from 4 hours to 12 hour shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have CNA License or have the 75 Hour Home Health Aide Certificate.
2. HHA must have a minimum of one (1) year direct, Hand's on- patient care experience. Or current state certification as a nurse assistant.
3. Current CPR certification
4. Current Level 2 Background Check
5. Professional Liability Insurance Required (available through NSO- agency can give you information upon interview on how to obtain)
6. Must have Current Health Screen stipulating free from communicable diseases.
7. Ability to lift 50 pounds
8. Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation as indicated per job.
