We are currently accepting resumes for the position of CARE MANAGER for Aegis at Callahan House and Aegis of Shoreline. The Care Manager is the core of the Assisted Living business. This person supports our residents by providing personal care, housekeeping, and culinary services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide excellent personal care to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers/mobility, and eating
• Encourage all residents to be as independent as possible in self-care
• Report all changes in resident condition to assigned supervisor according to policy
• Serve and accommodate guests in the dining room
• Participate in all required training sessions and in-services
• Perform daily upkeep of the residents' apartments and the community's common areas as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
.
• CNA with Modified Fundamentals, CPR and First Aid and Food Handlers' card required.
• Dementia and Mental Health Special Training preferred
• Experience providing direct care preferred, specifically in an Assisted Living or Home Health setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, residents, and families
