Safe Harbor Homecare is seeking skilled, caring, dependable and professional Home Health Aides to assist clients with activities of daily living in their own home.
Will be assisting in bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, vital signs, medication reminders, charting, transferring, light housekeeping, and errands for the clients.
Functions as a member of a healthcare team to provide for the safety, nutrition, hygiene, and comfort of assigned clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Looking for candidates with previous basic care training, and ONE YEAR HHA experience. Training opportunities and healthcare career advancement is available.
Qualifications:
Applicants MUST have a High School diploma, or GED, and one year of supervised HHA work experience. Current First Aid and CPR certification required. Nurse Aide certification is a plus, but not necessary. Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills to write routine reports and correspond with client and company staff. Must have a valid driver's license and provide a certified traffic abstract. Applicant must have your own reliable and insured transportation. Successful candidate must submit to TB clearance, and criminal background check. Flexibility in schedule and assignment locations is required.
