CNA, HHA FOR IMMEDIATE LIVE IN OPENINGS (san jose west)

Location: SAN JOSE
Shift availability: Weekend Live-in position (24 hour shifts) - Weekdays and Weekends
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of 1:1 in-home live-in experience needed.
- Must have experience with dementia clients.
- CNA/HHA certification or equivalent work experience.
- Speak and understand English fluently. Client also is fluent in French.
- Able to write concisely, provide careful reporting notes, and be expeditious in reporting changes to supervisor.
- Able to initiate activities sensitive to the clients' needs and in conjunction with care plan.
- Work as a member of a care team but without direct on-site supervision.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Be caring and compassionate.
- Driving required. Must have reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
- Current DMV printout that reflects a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record
- Proof of current automobile insurance (declaration page of insurance policy).
- Authorized to work.
- Medically clear to work along with copy of TB clearance (within last 12 months).
- Experience with lifting and transferring. You must be able to lift 50 lbs. of dead weight.
- Current CPR license.
- Please provide any training certificates (CPR, et cetera).
