Masonic Villages is seeking part-time CNAs for our Sewickley Campus.
For more than 130 years, the Masonic Villages have been pursuing a vision of excellence to meet the needs of others. The Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill offers continuing care retirement services for more than 250 residents. In the center part of the state, The Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is a continuing care retirement community, including a health care center, children’s home and residences for more than 1,700 residents. In the eastern part of the state, The Masonic Village at Warminster provides nursing care and assisted living accommodations for more than 60 residents. To provide services to those living in western Pennsylvania, The Masonic Village at Sewickley is a continuing care retirement community home to 532 residents. To meet the growing need for active adult retirement communities, The Masonic Village at Dallas, our newest community, was founded on March 9, 2005.
CNAs perform various resident care activities and related non-professional nursing services.
Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to: *Assisting residents with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, hair car, nail care, mouth care, feeding, back care and toileting. *Transporting residents using a wheelchair or assist resident to ambulate to activities or special appointments, i.e., PT, Podiatry, Beauty Shop, etc. *Assisting licensed personnel with special treatments, i.e., catheterizations and enemas, etc. *Storing and passing clean linen, changing bed linen when indicated and collecting and handling soiled linen according to procedure. *Taking vital signs, TPR, and blood pressure; recording Intake & Output; emptying and changing catheter drainage bags as directed. *Assisting in keeping residents rooms neat, replenish personal care items as needed.
Candidates for this position MUST: *Be at least 18 years of age *Be available and willing to work part-time *Be available and willing to work every other weekend and every other holiday *Have successfully completed and passed a state-approved CNA Training course *Be eligible and have intentions to take the written Nursing Assistant Certification Exam OR have taken and passed this exam
The preferred candidate will have previous work experience in a healthcare setting.
