Position Summary
Responsible for providing personal assistance services to client in order to maintain
safety in client's home. Services could include assistance with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, exercising, toileting, positioning, assisting with self-administered medications, routine hair and skin care, and transfer or ambulation) and other personal assistance services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation assistance.

Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
Must be honest and show integrity.
Must have at least one year previous experience in care giving for the elderly
or have a current CNA or STNA certificate.
Must not have a criminal record which would bar employment.
Must be able to tolerate a physical workload including standing or sitting for
prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to tolerate a variety of housing conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform personal assistance services for clients as dictated by client needs and
preferences.
Examples include:
Assist in personal care such as lifting, turning, dressing, walking, bathing, changing and using the restroom.
Clean and tidy all areas used by client including sweeping, dusting, dishwashing, linen changing and laundry.
Prepare and administer client meals according to client's dietary needs and wants.
Errand running for client such as: deliver bill payments, mail letters and shop.
Transport client in the client's automobile with proper release form and proof of Insurance.
Grocery shopping for client as needed.
Report any and all violations of client's rights. Report any damage, destruction or
removal of the client's personal property.
Respect all client's personal property.
Complete and submit all documentation as designated in a timely manner.
Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Provide own transportation that is in good working order.
Responsible for keeping relationships with clients professional, related to
business, rather than personal.
Communicate with immediate supervisor of changes in schedule or issues
affecting caregiver's ability to perform assigned duties.

Compensation: $7.70 to $9.00 per hour
