We have several part-time career opportunities for C.N.A.s and/or Resident Assistants! We are located directly behind Hilldale Shopping Mall and are on a bus-line in the Madison metropolitan area!
Join Independent Living, Inc.'s assisted living/senior housing community located at The Gardens - 602 N. Seqoe Road in Madison, Wisconsin. Provide a range of personal care services for our residents in both independent living and assisted living services. We are actively recruiting for the Resident Assistants. The Agency is seeking part-time candidates that are available for scheduled hours up to 32 hours/week and/or as "floaters." Prior "medical certification classes/training" for a CBRF facility strongly preferred.
Serve the residents of the Residential Care Apartment Complex and the Community Based Residential Facility in their personal, physical and emotional care needs. Maintain the resident's household in accordance with the standards established by Independent Living, Inc. and our licensing regulations. These duties include providing personal care, monitoring/administering medications according to regulations, and monitoring and reporting resident's physical and emotional status. Provide socialization and activity opportunities. Provide resident assistance with general housekeeping duties, as well as keeping resident common areas clean, comfortable. Also assist with meal and snack preparation, with attention to special diets.
Requires a High School diploma or GED; C.N.A. certification a plus! Candidates will need to complete trainings for all necessary certifications as required for CBRF and RCAC employment within the first 6 months of employment. Prior CBRF and RCAC training/certification preferred. Prior experience in direct service to older adults is also preferred. Candidates must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Effective communication essential, with an awareness of the needs and behavior of older and/or disabled adults; strong candidates demonstrate a compassionate and positive outlook
