Vibra Hospital of Southeastern Michigan, located in Lincoln Park, MI, is a 60-bed long term acute care (LTAC) hospital that is well established in the Detroit market. Vibra Hospital of Southeastern Michigan is seeking experienced CNA's to join our team - Full Time Day & Night Shift.
Position Summary:
Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Michigan required.
One to two years previous healthcare experience is required.
Current CPR and immunizations (MMR, DPT, Varicella, Hep B and TB screening) are required.
English is the primary language of the facility. Ability to read and write, communicate clearly with co-workers and customers and to respond to appropriate questions regarding work process or work product.

§ Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
§ Demonstrates knowledge of statutes and regulations and functions within the legal boundaries of certified nursing assistant practice.
§ Ongoing demonstration of competency in performance of technical skills.
§ Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
§ Strong organizational, prioritizing and interpersonal skills.
§ Proficiency of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
