HOME CARE ASSISTANCE is proud to be Chicagoland's premier homecare agency. Our well-trained and experienced caregivers assist our senior clients so they can continue living safely and independently in their own homes. We focus on proper nutrition, physical movement, social ties, mental stimulation, and sense of purpose.
We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING for experienced FEMALE CNA/CAREGIVERs in the EVERGREEN PARK and BEVERLY AREAs to work 12 hour shifts, am or pm. Strong CNA experience preferred; rehab experience a plus. You will be assisting a female client who wants to remain as independent as possible following surgery for a hip fracture.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
Minimum of 2 years of paid caregiving experience
Legally able to work in the U.S.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English
Own your own car, and can provide proof of insurance; must have excellent driving record (YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CAR; NO EXCEPTIONS)
Excellent references
Ability to pass criminal background, employment and fingerprint checks
A true desire to help seniors
Rehab experience preferred
CNA preferred
