Home Care Agency in Queens is looking to extend its Caregiver team. If you are compassionate about helping an elderly person, looking for a live-in or live-out case, have experience in care giving, please stop by at our office this Thursday for an open house interview. We will conduct interviews between 9.30 am till 2.30 pm. Please bring your state ID and your valid certifications as well as reference letters if available. Please read this whole post for details.
Caregivers provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions. Care may include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship and respite.
Caregivers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards. Our cases are mostly located in Queens and Nassau County.
Responsibilities may include:
Providing companionship
Assisting with activities of daily living
Homemaking – including shopping, cooking, cleaning, errands
Monitoring clients needs and reporting to supervisor
Accompanying clients to medical appointments and taking them out around town
Working with other caregivers
Looking for responsible, flexible, reliable candidates. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US and agree to a background check.
Requirements are;

• Valid US Citizenship or work permit
• Experience in home care or in medical field – HHA/PCA/CNA training & certificate
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to speak a second language such as “ Spanish, Italian, Greek, Polish, Russian, Cantonese, “ is a plus.
• Also the ability to drive and owning a vehicle is a big plus.
  We have full time (live/in – live/out) and part time (as little as 4 hours a day) positions available.

  Salary is $ 110.00 per day for live-in & $ 9.00 per hour for live-out cases.

Driving Directions : Take Van Wyke – 678 North down to exit 15, 20th Avenue. drive west on 20th Avenue and make a right turn on College Point Blvd. Make a left on 14th Avenue, then another left on 110th Street.
