CNA/Caregiver M - F (Henderson, NV 89015)

Seeking a CNA/PCA with at least one year's experience.

The patient is an eldery female in a private home in Henderson and uses a walker.

You should be energetic, friendly with an outgoing personality.

Duties would include:

Waking up patient upon your arrival

Assisting her in choosing daily clothing -- she bathes and grooms herself

Preparing cereal for breakfast

Taking vitals, oxygen level, blood sugar

Reminder to take medication

Running errands

Shopping at market

Taking her to Dr. appointments

Helping her transfer to wheelchair or van. Assisting her with balance while she gets in or out of chair.

Pushing her in a wheelchair (she weighs about 115 lbs.)

Light housekeeping

Laundry

Companionship.

It is very important to find someone who is a good conversationalist.

Please have the following:

- Professional, compassionate, mature, but friendly personality

- A minimum of one year of caregiving experience or PCA/CNA certification. If you have worked with patients who have memory challenges, that would be a plus.

- 2 employment references

- Fluent English speaking

- Current CPR/First Aid card

- Proof of auto insurance and your own auto

- Current NV Drivers License

- Social Security Card or other I-9 acceptable documentation

- Ability to pass a background screening process

You must have all of the above, or be willing to obtain them before you start work.

This is an Independent Contractor, 1099 position.
