i operate/own a 3 client adult foster care home in Kihei. I'm looking to hire a few DEPENDABLE CNA's to work on an "as needed" basis (a few
hours once or twice a week)
Requirements for this position are:
Current Hawaii CNA
Minimum of 1 year prior work experience as a caregiver (Hawaii CNA or Hawaii Nurse's Aide) in a community residential setting or in a medical facility
Current CPR and First Aid
Must be 21 years old or older
Blood Born Pathogen certification (provided)
Finger Printing/Criminal Check (provided)
Adult Protective Service Check (provided)
Duties may include the following:
prepare meals, feed/assist with meal, assist with shower, give bed bath, light
house chores (clients dishes, straighten clients bathroom, etc), Brief changes, get client out of bed, etc.
knowledge of medical equipment's-
hospital bed (manual and electric) glucometer for blood sugar check
hoyer lift for assisting in lifting patient from/to bed/wheelchair
Blood pressure monitor
