Personal Care Assistant/C.N.A.
3. Performs personal care activities contained in a written assignment by the Supervisor which includes but is not limited to, assisting the patient with activities of daily living, such as:
a. Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
a. Ambulation
b. Eating
c. Dressing
d. Shaving
e. Meal Preparation
Education
1. High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required.
2. Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in health care (in homes or facilities) and/or successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course preferred.
3. The Personal Care Assistant shall have successfully completed a written Competency Evaluation.
4. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
