JOB DESCRIPTION:
This paraprofessional reports to the Program Director and/or Assistant Program Director of the Intensive Group Living Environment program at the Lindemann Mental Health Center. He/she is are responsible for the health, safety, and quality of life of persons served residing in this program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, advocacy, assistance with activities of daily living and monitoring of health concerns under the supervision of the Program Director and/or Registered Nurse. Full time and Part time positions available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma/GED required and must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). Must have or be able to acquire CPR/First Aid Certification and medication certification within three (3) months of employment. Minimum of three (3) years experience working with similar population in a human services environment. **Please Note: Only candidates who meet the minimum experience requirements of three years in a mental health setting will be considered.
