Immediate Opening: PSYCH IN-HOME CARE: Part-time Positions for EXPERIENCED LCSW, Psych Tech, Psych-LVN or Psych-CNA, or COTA
Location: MANHATTAN, NASSAU
Part-Time Shifts Availability:
Psych Day and Night shifts: $22.50 per hour
If you are an experienced LCSW, Psych Tech, Psych-LpN or Psych-CNA, or COTA we would like to hear from you!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience in an acute/residential psychiatric treatment setting AND
- Experience working 1:1 in-home with clients with chronic mental illness.
- Be caring, compassionate and patient
- Able to initiate activities sensitive to the clients' needs and in conjunction with care plan.
- Must have clinical knowledge, critical thinking, as well as demonstrated ability to problem-solve.
- Speak and understand English FLUENTLY
- Able to follow instructions
- Work as member of a care team but without direct supervision on-site.
- Driving required. Must have reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
- Current DMV printout that reflects a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proof of current automobile insurance (declaration page of insurance policy).
- Authorized to work
- Medically clear to work with TB clearance
- Experience with lifting and transferring clients. (You must be able to lift 50 lbs. of dead weight.)
- Current CPR license
- Please provide any training certificates (CNA, Home Health Aide, CPR, et cetera) at interview.
