Principle Accountabilities:
Performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patientÃ¢Â€Â™s personal needs and to promote comfort
Responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed
Promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a patientÃ¢Â€Â™s home
Gives personal care to patient, assists with feeding, bathing, oral hygiene, etc
Qualifications include:
Successfully completed a state established or other training program that meets the requirements
Valid drivers license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the organizations requirements and is in good working order
Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given

The primary purpose of this position is to provide personal care to patients in their homes under the general direction of registered nurse, therapist or case manager.
Education:
Current certification as a Certified Home Health Aide.
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Minimum one year experience as a home health aide (with hospice) strongly preferred.
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of medical terminology and health care practices is required as well as understanding of universal precautions. Location: Henderson, NV
