This paraprofessional reports to the Program Director/Program Coordinator and/or Assistant Program Director/Assistant Program Coordinator of the GLE that s(he) is working at. S(he) is responsible for the health, safety, and quality of life of persons served residing in this program during overnight shifts. Responsibilities include assistance with activities of daily living and monitoring of health concerns. This position provides personal assistance based on their need level of persons, and adheres to all agency policies and procedures and licensing/funding source requirements.
High school degree or GED required; Bachelor's in related field preferred. One (1) year human services experience with similar population required. Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A;) Must be or have the ability to become medication, First Aid and CPR certified after training provided. Must have Driver's license. Must be MAP certified, CPR/1st aide within three (3) months of hire. Full time and Part time positions available.
