On-Call CNA (2545 SW Terwilliger Blvd., Portland OR)

Terwilliger Plaza, Portland's signature retirement community for over 50 years and recently selected by Oregon Business as one of the top 100 Best Nonprofits to Work in Oregon, has openings for the on-call CNAs for all shifts: day, evening, or night shift.
A Certified Nursing Assistant reports to the shift Charge Nurse(s) and fulfills the need of resident's direct care, both medical and non-medical. This includes assisting residents with ADLs: take vital signs, bed changes, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, toileting, feeding, and answering call lights and working in accordance with Charge Nurse's instructions.
Candidate must have current CNA certification, CPR and First Aid, and Food Handlers Card. One-year experience in long-term care for senior citizens preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Must speak, read, write and understand English.
