Home Matters Caregiving is a non-medical home care agency providing caregiving services for clients throughout the valley.
We offer a variety of shifts depending upon the needs of our clients including 4 hour, 8 hour, 12 hour, and 24 hour live-in shifts. Currently, we have part time hourly shifts available in East Mesa in the area of Power Road and Main (2 to 3 hours per day). Immediate part-time hourly shifts also available close to the I-17 and Cactus (7:00 am to Noon and 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm).
At Home Matters Caregiving, caregivers are a part of our family. Our goal is to provide our caregivers with a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment and a rewarding career in caregiving. We offer opportunities for pay advancement, longevity bonuses, and a $100 sign-on bonus for caregivers accepting 24-hour care assignments.
Position Requirements:
Successful applicants must be compassionate, professional, and caring. Candidates must have:
• At least one year of experience working as a caregiver for seniors
• CPR/First Aid certifications
• Current fingerprint clearance card (or ability to get card quickly)
• A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle for occasional client transport, valid registration and insurance
• A reliable source of transportation to and from work
• An ability to pass a state and federal background check and drug test
• Candidates with CNA or Caregiver Certifications are given priority
Position Details:
Caregiving activities may include the following:
• Companionship
• Self-Care and Hygiene Assistance
• Medication Reminders overseen by our Nurse
• Meal Planning and Cooking
• Light Housekeeping
• Transportation
• Assistance with exercise programs developed by our Occupational Therapist
